Singapore Botanical Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens are 156 years old! The tropical garden is one of three gardens, and the only tropical garden, to be honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a huge pond where we found the beautiful black swan pictured above. It also had a section of toxic plants that were gated off for people to see. My favorite part was the orchid garden. It was filled with orchids of all kinds from top to bottom, as well as many other flowers and fountains that were gorgeously decorated. We also saw multiple monitors too, which is the lizard pictured above! My sister's husband, Jacob, would have been in plant heaven here!
