Prancing through Phuket

The first pictures few pictures are the hostal we stayed in while in Phuket! It was a super nice hostal compared to the one in Kho Phi Phi. Phuket had beautiful beaches as well! We walked around the streets of Phuket for about an hour, but it was so hot and a little hectic that we turned back after a while before we got lost and melted.

You can see that we ran into Garra rufa fish, a variety of Turkish toothless carp, and attempted to sit still while the fish eat away the dead skin-- but alas I am too ticklish and didn't last 15 seconds. I did get to hold and play with a small python though, as you can see! It was super active and slithered all over my arms! At first I was scared, but it's really not as bad as you would think. It's actually quite fun!

After that, you can see that buddhist temple we had a chance to visit. At the top they have a pot where you can place incense as you say your prayers to Buddha. Thailand is a Buddhist country, so temples play an important role in everyday life for Thai people. People go to the temple for merit making, praying to the Buddha for things such as good health, good fortune and wealth, and for seeking advice from monks!

Thailand was the most amazing trip and I can't wait to return again!
